Department Chair - Communication
The Department of Communication seeks applicants for the position of Department Chair (open rank) who possess a distinguished record of scholarly, professional accomplishments and ACEJMC administrative accreditation experience. The position entails nine months of full-time service and three months of part-time service during the summer. A separate stipend is available for both periods. In addition to part-time summer administrative responsibilities as chair, the chair is permitted to teach in the summer for additional compensation. The Chair reports to the Dean of the College of Arts and Letters.

Requirements
The College of Arts and Letters has 17 full-time faculty, approximately 600 undergraduate majors and minors, and 50 students in the master’s program along with two staff members. The department offers 8 concentrations within the undergraduate major along with 5 minors and 3 masters tracks.
