Denver/Beaver Creek Airport Shuttle Drivers
Blue Sky Limo is hiring professional drivers for our Denver Airport to Beaver Creek shuttle route for 2026/2027. We’re seeking qualified and reliable drivers who take pride in delivering exceptional hospitality and customer service. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible schedules to suit the right candidates.
About the role
As a Beaver Creek airport shuttle driver, you’ll drive one of our fully outfitted luxury SUVs and provide visitors flying into Denver International Airport with the experience of a lifetime as you transfer them through the Rocky Mountains to Beaver Creek, Colorado. Our clientele is recognized for their generosity and appreciation of excellent service, so in addition to a competitive hourly rate of $35 – $40, this position offers substantial tipping potential.
Drivers on this route are expected to be punctual, presentable, helpful with luggage, attentive to schedule changes, and able to provide a calm, professional experience from pickup through drop-off. While you have complete freedom over which days you sign up to work, we do require a firm commitment to your scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable transportation for passengers traveling between DEN and Beaver Creek-area destinations.
- Meet arriving guests at DIA, assist with luggage and ski gear, and maintain clear communication throughout the transfer.
- Drive responsibly in changing traffic, weather, and road conditions while staying in communication with dispatch.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, professional presentation, and trip readiness before and after each assignment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest queries and concerns with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Record journey details, including passenger numbers and trip information.
Requirements
- At least 25 years old for insurance coverage.
- Valid driver’s license in your name at all times.
- No CDL required.
- Clean criminal history and no serious traffic tickets in the last five years.
- Permanent resident of the Vail Valley.
- Eligible for lawful employment in the USA.
- Able to drive safely on roads covered in ice or snow, or subject to heavy winds.
- Flexibility for early mornings, late nights, and holiday shifts, especially during the busy winter ski season.
No passenger driving experience is necessary, but it is preferred. All prospective employees will undergo background checks for safety purposes.
Safety
Blue Sky Limo maintains a perfect safety record transporting thousands of passengers through Colorado’s demanding mountain terrain since 2012.
- Mountain-ready fleet: Every SUV features factory safety systems, premium studded winter tires, and Thule rooftop cargo boxes for a clear, safe cabin.
- Rigorous maintenance: Daily pre-trip checks, comprehensive inspections, and a fleet refreshed every season.
- Anti-fatigue policy: Strict adherence to FMCSA Hours of Service regulations. Schedule pressure never overrides driver safety.
- Driver authority: Drivers have the authority to adjust routes, timing, or pace when conditions change. Safety decisions are yours to make.
- Full compliance: Fully FMCSA, Colorado PUC, and DOT certified with commercial insurance far exceeding state minimums.
Route Details
This route covers roughly 130 miles from DIA west on I-70, climbing through the Eisenhower Tunnel at over 11,000 feet and descending through the ski corridor past Vail Pass into Beaver Creek. Winter conditions along this corridor can change fast — heavy snowfall, black ice, high winds, and I-70 traffic that gets notoriously heavy on weekends and holidays are all part of the job. Chain laws and road closures sometimes force alternate routing.
