Dentist - Saturdays & Sundays only

Kids and Teen Dental Place in Van Nuys, CA, is seeking a General Dentist to provide preventive and restorative dental care for children, instruct patients and caregivers on oral-health practices, and train staff in treatment assistance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and perform all necessary dental procedures
• Educate caregivers and patients on treatment plans and preventive oral-health practices; stay current on latest dental techniques
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform referring providers about available services
• Help kids and caregivers develop excellent oral-health habits
• Support company promotion and new-patient outreach within the community
• Participate in team activities: morning huddles, provider meetings, company events, and email communications
• Perform other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality, compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Requirements

• Active state dental license in good standing
• Strong interest in working with children
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time

Schedule

Part-time, Saturdays only.

Pay

$700–$1,000 per day.
