Dentist - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Determines and implements effective plan of treatment for patient to includes impressions for dentures, extracting diseased teeth, repairing cavities, root canals etc.
• Advises and educates patient about dental health practices.
• Consults with the managers of other patient services to ensure coordination of services for dental treatment plan of patients.
• Enters all pertinent and required information into patient medical record in accordance with procedure and practice in a timely and effective manner.
• During emergency operations may be required to report to work or remain at work.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. from approved dental school or eligibility for limited licensure
• 3 years of experience as a Dentist preferred
• Current Massachusetts License (or eligible for limited license)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) Certification
• Current MCSR and DEA

Qualifications

• Provides functional supervision of the dental assistants, hygienists, students, externs, and residents as assigned and/or as a designee in the absence of the site Lead Dentist as needed.
