About the role
Indiana Dental Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a general and/or pediatric dentist in Indianapolis, IN, and the surrounding areas. Our innovative in-school dental program offers a workday ending with the school day and no nights or weekends, making it perfect for dentists looking to supplement their current income, working parents, recent graduates, those looking towards retirement, and anyone wanting to make a difference in the dental field.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental care to underserved children at schools
- Work a school day schedule (about 6 hours)
- Transform classrooms, auditoriums, gyms, or other suitable areas into fully functional dental offices for the day
Requirements
- Dentistry degree
- Current license to practice dentistry in Indiana
- Experience in school-based dental care is preferred but not required
Qualifications
- Flexible scheduling
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and summers off
- State-of-the-art portable dental equipment
- Latest technology and digital radiography
