About the role
The General Dentist will diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions while promoting preventive care and oral health education. This position serves a diverse patient population, focusing on providing high-quality dental care to low-income children and adults covered by Medicaid or those who are uninsured.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions
- Promote preventive care and oral health education
- Serve a diverse patient population, focusing on low-income individuals and families
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure exceptional patient care
- Work in a mission-driven environment that improves access to essential oral healthcare for underserved individuals and families
- Practice comprehensive dentistry in a supportive and flexible setting
Requirements
- Current Virginia dental license
- Experience in general dentistry
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to improving oral health and expanding access to care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of patients

Pay
