Dental & Vision Provider Networks Intern (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Seek to learn and understand Dental and Vision business.
• Analyze and gather competitive intelligence information for differing lines of business (Dental, Vision).
• Support Dental Network management data input, analysis of basic data reporting.
• Support credentialing and recredentialing processes.
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to produce meaningful insights from the data.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and support departmental projects and initiatives.
• Provide crucial quality checks of system outputs.
• Attend various meetings and participate in team activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors as needed.
• Support RFPs - Dental Network, Repricing, and Geoanalysis.

Qualifications

• This position requires an individual working towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
• A Junior or Senior Undergraduate or Graduate level student targeting majors in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Relations or Economics with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently with little direction and be able to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deliverables across varying deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, PowerBI, SharePoint or Microsoft Power Apps) and the Internet.
• Strong research skills - Ability to search internet and have a desire/interest in healthcare.
