Dental Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Dental Therapist to join our team at Gentle Dental in Eugene, OR. As part of our commitment to providing exceptional, lifelong, integrated oral healthcare, we offer a generous signing bonus of $10,000.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care under the supervision of licensed dentists
• Perform routine dental procedures including cleaning, filling cavities, and applying sealants
• Assist in complex dental procedures as directed by licensed dentists
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure they understand their dental care options and treatment plans
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment

Requirements

• Accredited Dental Therapy Program Graduate
• Current Oregon Dental License
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing scores from the National Board Dental Examinations (NBDE) Part I and II

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using dental equipment and technology
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume dental office setting
