About the role
The Dental Supervisor at Noble Community Clinics provides leadership and oversight of dental support staff while ensuring efficient, patient-centered clinic operations. This role supports enhancing the patient experience, supporting team development, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality, patient-centered operations
- Champion patient experience initiatives (rounding, AIDET, service recovery, etc.)
- Supervise Dental Assistants and other clinical support staff
- Schedule, staff, and coordinate workflow
- Aid with onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development
- Coach and motivate team members to meet quality and performance goals
- Oversee supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), emergency kits, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support performance management, including feedback and issue resolution
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare or dental setting preferred
- Knowledge of health and dental insurance processes preferred
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- 2–3 years of people leadership experience (coaching, mentoring, team development)
- 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare or a related field
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR/EDR systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
