Dental Office Manager

About the Role

As a Dental Office Manager at Ideal Dental, you will oversee all day-to-day operations of the dental office to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. This includes managing patient service issues, fostering office morale, creating staff schedules, and completing daily and monthly reports. You will contribute to the health and well-being of the community by helping create beautiful smiles every day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the dental office runs smoothly by managing all day-to-day activities, from patient flow to team coordination.
• Deliver exceptional patient service by addressing and resolving patient service issues with professionalism and care.
• Develop and manage the dental team by leading, mentoring, and supporting staff, providing opportunities for professional development.
• Foster team morale by building and maintaining a supportive, engaging work environment that aligns with company culture.
• Create and manage efficient staff schedules, balancing office needs with team availability.
• Audit patient accounts to review and verify accuracy of billing and records.
• Guide treatment plans by presenting options clearly and compassionately, assisting patients in overcoming financial barriers.
• Track office performance by completing daily and monthly reports and analyzing key metrics.
• Support office needs by taking on additional duties as required.
• Travel to newly acquired DeNovo offices as needed to support their integration and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of management experience, with dental experience preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A welcoming smile and a positive attitude that creates a friendly atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a talent for motivating teams.
• A natural desire and ability to connect with and serve guests.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel to new or acquired DeNovo offices as needed.
