Dental Lab Technician (Baseplate/Bite Rim)

About the role

National Dentex is growing the largest network of dental laboratories in North America and is seeking a Full-Time Dental Lab Technician (Baseplate/Bite Rim) at NDX Green in Heber Springs, AR. This is a paid training opportunity in the dental field that doesn’t require a college degree for career-focused individuals who thrive in a team environment and are passionate about helping people.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
• Make baseplates and place wax rim.
• Use rim former to melt wax to specific length and shape.
• Place bite blocks on cast partial frameworks.
• Make custom impression trays.
• Maintain a clean work area and clean instruments on a regular basis.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Detail oriented.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No experience required.

Skills

• Ability to work with small machinery, hand-pieces, and chemicals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Schedule

Regular hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.
