Dental Insurance Coordinator

Community Dental Partners is looking for someone who loves being around people. The Insurance Processor has the opportunity to bring a smile to patients and provide a wonderful patient experience. This role primarily focuses on insurance verification and supports patients, staff, and doctors in various ways. If you enjoy making connections with people, this is the right position for you!

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival
• Receive and verify paperwork and insurance information from the Greeter
• Update patient status in the computer system
• Handle routine questions over the phone about appointments, policies, insurance, and treatments
• Verify insurance and frequencies as needed
• Review and confirm patient appointments in advance
• Back up the Greeter when necessary
• Clean and maintain the front office area/lobby
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Dependability and teamwork
• 1 year of prior dental insurance experience

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and demonstrates initiative

Location: Smile Magic Garland
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday
Salary: $17-20/hr (based on experience)
