Role Overview
A dental hygienist is an empowered clinical partner responsible for assessing oral health, recommending care, and educating patients in a modern, technology-supported environment. They work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with autonomy to manage schedules and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver personalized patient care plans in partnership with the doctor.
- Use digital tools for clinical assessments, case acceptance, and patient communication.
- Manage patient schedules, conduct thorough assessments, and provide patient education.
- Collaborate with the hygiene team for mentorship and clinical support.
- Utilize advanced technology such as voice-activated perio charting, 3D scanning, and AI tools.
- Participate in ongoing learning and career development through structured training and continuing education programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Active dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
- Strong communication skills and passion for patient education.
