Gentle Dental in Allentown, PA is looking for a confident, patient-first PRN (as-needed) Dental Hygienist who loves walking into a schedule with purpose and walking out knowing they made someone’s day better. Deliver exceptional hygiene care, prophys, periodontal assessments, patient education, and prevention-forward coaching. Collaborate with a supportive clinical team that values communication, positivity, and doing the right thing for every patient, every visit.
As a PRN Hygienist, you’ll support our offices on an as-needed basis (with the ability to travel between nearby locations). Pick up shifts that match your availability, build variety into your week, and enjoy the freedom of PRN work. Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Adhere to sterilization protocols
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
