Pediatric Dentistry of Bronx is a warm, welcoming dental home for children and families in Bronx, NY. We're currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our team part-time. Schedule
- Part-Time (1 day/week on Saturdays)
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (some flexibility available)
- Wednesdays: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional coverage)
- Occasional travel to our other offices (within a reasonable distance) may be requested
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleanings, fluoride treatments, and apply sealants
- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
- Educate children and families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Accurately record patient medical and dental histories
- Maintain a clean, safe, and kid-friendly clinical environment
- Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff
- Provide occasional front desk support as needed
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene (Required)
- Valid NYS Dental Hygienist License (Required)
- Pediatric dental experience preferred
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
- Team-oriented with a cheerful, professional attitude
