About the role
Bourbon Family Dentistry is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our small, family-oriented practice.
Responsibilities
- Earn $40 per hour (based on experience)
- Work 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) initially, transitioning to full-time in December
- Participate in promoting dental health and collaborating with the dentist to manage patient oral health
- Perform dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, obtain radiographs, and chart findings
- Educate patients on oral health practices and proper techniques
- Maintain and select top-notch tools for dental hygiene treatment
- Complete dental prophylaxis, detect disease, and apply cavity-preventing agents and dental sealants
Requirements
- Preferably 1 year of previous dental hygienist experience
- X-Ray and CPR Certification
- Affordable Associate degree or successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene
- State license required
