Dental Hygienist

About the role

Dr. James Crouch is seeking a Friday ONLY Dental Hygienist to join his team. Heartland Dental, the nation's largest dental support organization, provides non-clinical administrative support services to over 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in 1,900+ dental offices. Hygienists in CT, MD, NC, NV, and WA work for a supported professional corporation (PC) and are not employed by Heartland Dental.

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Louisiana and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.
• One year of clinical experience, preferred.
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.

$1,500 Sign on Bonus
