Position Highlights

- $49.10-$60.76/hour DOE
- Additional pay for bilingual skills, paid on hours worked
What You’ll Do
- Maintains patient medical records
- Conducts complete patient X-ray procedure
- Prepares tools and equipment for the Provider
- Auxiliary with Provider during exams
- Performs preventative periodontal care
- Placing and carving amalgam and composite restorations
- Administers local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia
- Provides education and counsel for patients
- Formulates dental hygiene treatment plans
- Participates in the clinic’s infection control program
- Provides input to the Dental Leadership team
- May participate in the development of dental education programs
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Dental Hygiene license for the state of practice
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at a level 10
Knowledge and Skills
- Standard dental practices and current hygiene concepts
- Delivery of dental anesthetic
- Placement of restorations
- Assessment, adaptation, and interaction with a variety of patients
- Time management and resource allocation
- Basic computer proficiency (Electronic Dental Records, Outlook, Word, Excel)
