Position Highlights
- 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)
- EMR system is EPIC
- $49.57-$61.34/hour DOE
- Additional pay for bilingual skills, $5,000
- Hiring/Retention Bonus: $1,500 at hire, $2,000 at 180 days, $1,500 at 12 months
What You’ll Do:
- Maintains patient medical records
- Conducts complete patient X-ray procedure
- Prepares tools and equipment for the Provider
- Aids the Provider during exams
- Performs preventative periodontal care
- Plays expanded functions like placing and carving restorations
- Administers local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia
- Provides oral hygiene education and counsel
- Formulates dental hygiene treatment plans
- Participates in infection control program
- Provides input to the Dental Leadership team
- May develop, implement, and coordinate dental education programs
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Dental Hygiene license for the state of practice OR: Active Dental Hygiene License with Restorative Function Endorsement
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at a level 10
