Dental Hygienist
University Family Dentistry, supported by Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team for a full-time, 4-day-per-week position.

As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve, and desire. Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including patient screening and medical history documentation.
- Provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
- Utilize tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Collaborate with a 9-person team focused on communication and community.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Florida.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures.
- CPR Certification.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
- Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment (not applicable in FL & TN).

- 1+ years of clinical experience.
