Dental Hygienist

About the role

The Healthcare Connection is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The Dental Hygienist plays a key role in delivering high-quality oral health care, patient education, and preventive services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dental assessments, cleanings, polishing, fluoride/varnish applications, and X-rays
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and risk prevention
• Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures as needed
• Document patient history, conditions, and procedures thoroughly and accurately
• Prepare dental impressions and study casts
• Maintain cleanliness and function of operatories and dental equipment
• Use downtime to restock and prepare exam areas
• Support general front office duties as needed (triage, phones, etc.)

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – State of Ohio
• Current CPR Certification
• Ongoing CEUs to maintain licensure and stay current in dental practices
