Dental Hygienist
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists
- Document patient care and treatment plans
- Educate patients about oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Dental Hygiene license
- Local Anesthesia (preferred, but not required)
Knowledge and Skills/Expected Competencies
Ability to clearly communicate medical information to professional practitioners and/or the general public.
Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment
Regularly stand, walk, use hands and arms to operate general office equipment (PC, telephone, file cabinets, copier, fax machine and printer). Occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus. May need to travel to healthcare practices. Noise level is usually low to moderate.

Benefits (varies by hours worked)
- PTO: 1.54 hours accrued for every 40 hours worked
- Sick Leave: 1 hour earned for every 30 hours worked maxing at 40 hours
