Dental Hygienist

About the role

Dental Care at Reed's Crossing is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join their team. This position is part of Heartland Dental, the nation's largest dental support organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients
• Document patient histories and dental screenings accurately
• Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure high-quality care
• Participate in ongoing continuing education to enhance clinical skills
• Support the practice manager and team in maintaining a safe and healthy environment

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Oregon and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of clinical experience
• Desire to provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
