About the role
Lake Texoma Smiles is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join their growing team in Durant, Oklahoma. They are looking for a compassionate, patient-focused professional committed to delivering high-quality care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Tuesday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Every other Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly manner
- Performing dental hygiene procedures such as scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
- Documenting patient histories and medical screenings
- Providing oral health education and preventive care
- Collaborating with the dentist and other healthcare providers
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Oklahoma
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a current dental hygienist license in Oklahoma and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.

- $X per hour or $Y per day, depending on the schedule
