Dental Hygienist
About the role
Oak Grove Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join their team. The position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada at 1950 West Craig Road. The work schedule is Monday 7:30am-5pm, Tuesday 6:30am-5pm, Wednesday 9:30am-7pm, Thursday 7:30am-5pm. The practice utilizes Dentrix and offers bi-weekly, hourly pay with the option to opt into Daily Pay for immediate earnings. There are also opportunities for daily and quarterly bonuses, as well as access to Arestin, iTero, Velscope, and continuing education.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures
- Assess and document patient medical histories and dental conditions
- Administer fluoride treatments and other preventive measures
- Provide oral health education to patients
- Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Nevada
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
- CPR certification
Qualifications
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
