Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the clinical team to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services
• Document patient histories and conduct dental screenings
• Use various dental hygiene tools and technologies
• Provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills
• Support the practice's mission of providing exceptional dental care and creating a positive experience for every patient

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in AR and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification
• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times

Qualifications

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 7:40 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 7:40 AM–2:00 PM
