About the role
Join Dentistry Plus – Lexington as a full-time Dental Hygienist and be part of a fun, energetic team in a growing practice! Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM Expected addition of Friday hours by end of year: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM We are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Support practice growth while delivering excellent patient care and education.
- Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients.
- Participate in a robust Hygiene mentor program and receive ongoing educational offerings.
- Work in a supportive, collaborative environment with a focus on patient care and growth.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Kentucky and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- New Graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome!
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
