Dental Hygienist
About the role
Family Dental Care of Owasso is seeking a Dental Hygienist who is friendly, caring, and passionate about patient care and education.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures
- Document patient screenings and medical histories
- Use Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Continuously learn and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in OK and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
- CPR Certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental
Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year

Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
