Dental Hygienist
About the role
Turtle Creek Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join their growing team. Heartland Dental, the nation's largest dental support organization, provides administrative support to over 3,000 supported doctors in 39 states and the District of Columbia. Each Heartland Dental-supported office operates independently, serving unique communities and patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients
- Document patient histories and dental screenings accurately
- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Support the clinical leadership of the office while retaining autonomy
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in MS
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
- CPR certification
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems preferred
- Desire to continuously improve clinical skills and provide preventive care

- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office, doctor, and Heartland Dental
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically
