Dental Hygienist
About the role
Oak Hills Family Dental is accepting new graduates for a full-time position. The schedule includes Monday 7:30am-4:00pm, Tuesday 8:30am-5:00pm, Wednesday 7:30am-5:00pm, and Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients
- Give patients the time and care they need, deserve, and desire
- Participate in a 3-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community
- Work with a practice manager, a highly trained team on-site, and a vast network of experts across the nation
- Attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a current dental hygienist license in Missouri and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
