Dental Hygienist

About the role

Foreside Family Dental is actively hiring a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our incredible team. This position will offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus to welcome you.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients
• Document patient histories and conduct dental screenings
• Use advanced dental equipment and technologies
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure patient care

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Maine
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
• CPR Certification

Qualifications

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed

Pay

$55–$65/hr based on experience

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 7am–5pm (4-day work week)

A licensed dental hygienist (or soon-to-be licensed) with passion for patient care and building relationships. Must be positive, team-oriented, and eager to grow.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed

Additional Information

TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions. Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
