About the role

HealthPartners is currently hiring Dental Hygienists for their Woodbury location. Pay is competitive and range from $43.34 - $59.44/hour, dependent upon qualifications and other relevant factors. Some positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus. Position Requirements

  • A licensed dental hygienist in the state of Minnesota
  • The ability to perform all duties within the scope of practice established by regulations and rules of the state of Minnesota and the Minnesota Board of Dentistry that the dentist(s) delegates
  • To complete applicable credentialing or certification requirements in a reasonable period of time after appropriate training is available
  • To be able to perform as a part of a team composed of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and clerical staff

Physical Requirements

  • Good visual acuity and hand-eye coordination
  • The ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms
  • The ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (60 minutes or longer)

Accountabilities

  • To perform all duties in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Minnesota Board of Dentistry
  • To implement policies, procedures and treatment guidelines
  • To manage and flow patient schedules to assure efficient clinic schedules
  • To maintain patient-care-related equipment, supplies and processes
  • To record and maintain accurate patient records and other information using appropriate systems
  • To maintain a recall process and work with clerical staff to maintain a recall system
