Responsibilities
- Perform assessments (medical/dental history, periodontal exams, charting).
- Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride, polishing.
- Take and interpret X-rays.
- Provide hygiene education and home-care instruction.
- Assist dentist during procedures.
- Support reporting, quality control, and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher from CODA-accredited hygiene program.
- Current, unrestricted VT dental hygiene license.
- At least 1 year of full-time hygiene experience (VA experience preferred).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong communication and Microsoft 365 skills.
