About the role

We're looking for a highly consultative Field Trainer in the New York City or Boston metropolitan area to lead impactful, in-person training that accelerates early clinical success with Dandy's digital dentistry solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery & Clinical Coaching
    • Lead high-touch, in-person trainings to support doctors and staff in adopting intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
    • Coach teams based on live observation, reinforcing best practices and adapting in real time to meet the practice’s goals and maturity level.
    • Drive early case submission during training by removing blockers, reinforcing clinical urgency, and building confidence during and immediately after training.
  • Clinical Advisory & Post-Training Analysis
    • Partner with clinicians and practice leaders to reinforce scanning habits and support early adoption.
    • Monitor outcomes in the first 30 days and surface targeted coaching opportunities to accelerate success.
    • Share field insights to inform scalable resources, improve onboarding, and strengthen future trainings.
  • Practice Readiness & Operational Alignment
    • Assess readiness across clinical workflows, team structure, and equipment to proactively surface blockers or risks.
    • Cook up training strategies based on practice size, complexity, and clinical goals.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the right resources, messaging, and tools are in place before training day.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience delivering clinical training in digital dentistry or dental technology, with strong familiarity with intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
  • Experience training cohorts of up to ten assistants or staff at a time.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel up to 85% to deliver in-practice training and support.
  • Located near a major airport to support frequent national travel.
  • Must be within 60-min drive (JFK, EWR, LGA).
  • Comfortable partnering with senior leaders, clinicians, and staff across roles to influence behavior and drive adoption.
  • Comfortable operating independently in the field, adjusting plans in real-time based on practice dynamics and needs.
  • 3+ years managing training logistics, readiness assessments, and multi-practice coordination in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation and facilitation skills, able to adjust tone and approach based on audience.
  • Solutions-oriented approach to onboarding, training, and adoption.
