Dental Assistant Team Leader
Dental Assistant Team Lead Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certification (preferred, but not required)
- CPR certification card
- Working experience as a Dental Assistant
- Experience with Digital X-ray's
- Experience with patient charting (paper forms, charting tooth surfaces)
- Valid Driver's License, and a willingness to travel to schools within the boroughs
- Works well with children
- Team player and able to work on a small team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Dental Assistant Responsibilities
- Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
- Digital X-ray Imaging
- Patient Records Charting
- Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization

About the Role
Smile New York Outreach, through our affiliated dentists and other dental professionals, visits kids throughout New York City and Westchester County in the familiar surroundings of their schools, bringing much needed dental care to kids who may not otherwise have access. Smile New York Outreach is devoted to the ideal that all children deserve high-quality dental care. We embrace and support the various initiatives throughout the State of New York to improve the health of children, including greater access to dental care in schools.
