Dental Assistant - Rock Family Dental

About the role

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This position involves assisting the dentist in providing high-quality care to patients, performing clinical and technical procedures, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and calmly with parents and patients regarding treatment needs based on the prescribed treatment plan.
• Recognize and identify prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent forms are obtained.
• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
• Perform general housekeeping and restocking tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Trained by an Accredited Dental Assistant School.
• One to two years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
