Dental Assistant Part Time NO Weekends Pittsburgh

We are hiring dental assistants for part-time and full-time positions at $22-$26/hour in a mobile practice that travels to senior care facilities to provide dental and hygiene services on-site.

About the role

Join an exciting and growing dental team serving seniors in their communities. You will assist the dentist with procedures, prepare patients and equipment, follow sterilization and safety protocols, and transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites using your personal vehicle. Days are typically 8 or 10 hours, Monday to Friday, starting as early as 8:00 AM at our storage office. Mileage and tolls are reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with dental procedures
• Prepare the patient for dental procedures
• Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures
• Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures
• Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites

Requirements

• Current x-ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting
• Enjoy working with elderly patients (geriatric experience a plus but not required)
• Willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle (standard 4-door sedan is sufficient; SUV or crossover may be preferable)

Pay

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule

• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
