Part Time Dental Assistant

About the Role

Part-time Dental Assistant position at the Dental Clinic within Falls Community Health, with a maximum of 28 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Schedule is flexible based on clinic needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist and hygienists in providing dental care and treatment of patients.
• Perform front desk tasks.
• Chair-side assisting duties.
• Manage reception and patient records.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved school for dental assisting, or any combination of education, experience, and training acceptable to the hiring authority.
• Must possess a South Dakota dental assistant license.
• Must obtain valid radiology and nitrous oxide licenses within six (6) months of hire.
