About the role
Milwaukee Dental Assistant School is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs. The position is in-person in Milwaukee, WI 53221.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
- Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
- Coach students during hands-on lab practice
- Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
- Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
- Foster a supportive, structured learning environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience if certified; +5 years if not certified
- Active Radiology Certification
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
- Able to commute to location(s)
- Nice-to-haves: prior teaching or mentoring experience, Dentrix familiarity, leadership background
Pay
$27.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Saturdays, 7:00 am – 6:30 pm (breaks included). Teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability.
