Independence Dental Assistant School is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs.

Location: Independence, KY 41051 (In-Person)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
• Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
• Coach students during hands-on lab practice
• Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
• Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
• Foster a supportive, structured learning environment

Qualifications

Dental assistants — DA, RDA or EFDA welcomed — who want to keep practicing during the week while stepping into a mentorship role on Saturdays and who are ready to make an impact beyond the chair.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience
• Active Radiology Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
• Able to commute to location(s)

Skills

Pay

$22–$24/hr, depending on experience.

Schedule

Saturdays, 7:00am – 6:30pm (breaks included). Note: teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability.
