Dental Assistant II

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant II to support our dentists in delivering exceptional patient care. This role assists chairside, maintains operatory inventory, ensures proper sterilization and infection control, and prepares treatment rooms and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with all aspects of patient care.
• Reinforce preventive care instructions to patients.
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment.
• Support patients during dental procedures while ensuring comfort and calm.
• Clean and disinfect operatories after each procedure.
• Prepare tray set-ups and sterilize all instruments.
• Expose digital radiographs (X-rays).
• Take preliminary impressions as needed.
• Monitor all lab cases to ensure readiness for patient appointments.
• Maintain accuracy of the lab tracking system.
• Manage dental supply inventory and ensure operatory readiness.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
• Assist with obtaining 5-star Google reviews through excellent service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certification (required).
• State of North Carolina X-Ray Certification (required).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 15–20 lbs.
