Dental Assistant I

Position Summary

An On-Call Dental Assistant position is available at our White Center Dental Clinic. The primary responsibilities include assisting the dental provider in delivering dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act. Duties also include assisting in restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery procedures, and other permitted procedures. Additionally, the role involves maintaining proper records for MSDS, spore tests, managing dental supply inventory, and assisting in training new Dental Assistants.

Qualifications and/or Experience

• A valid WA State license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Organizational skills
• Dental record experience
• Familiarity with utilizing computers
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English
• Ability to interpret common written material about dentistry
• PREFERRED: Bilingual in English/Spanish
• PREFERRED: Previous orthodontic experience
