Dental Assistant (FT)

Dental Arts Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team in Valparaiso, IN. Work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients and perform light administrative duties. Our small team is cross-trained to support every department.

• One Lead Dentist (experienced)
• One Office Manager
• One FT Lead Front Desk Coordinator
• Two PT Registered Dental Hygienists
• One FT EFDA Dental Assistant
• One FT Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Chairside dental assisting for a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Follow sterilization protocols to OSHA regulation
• Computer-based charting and light administrative duties
• Build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Remain open-minded to new systems, techniques, direction, and feedback

Requirements

• X-Ray certification in the state of Indiana (required)
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude

Skills

• Computer efficiency
• Ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

Schedule

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay

$22 – $26 per hour
