Dental Assistant at St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry

About the role

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating positive dental experiences for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Aid the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with safety regulations
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be flexible and willing to travel between up to 4 practice locations to support team and patient needs
• Previous experience/knowledge in a dental or medical setting is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused demeanor
• Active dental assistant certification preferred, not required

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Benefits

$20 - $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Part-time schedule available, typically 16-20 hours per week.
