About the role

Your Role as a Dental Assistant
As a Dental Assistant, you'll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You'll deliver exceptional chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education. You'll record and review patient health histories, make chart entries under the dentist's direction, and ensure all documentation is complete. You'll set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule and procedure requirements. You'll prepare patients, sterilize/disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis following OSHA standards. You'll assist with dental procedures, including exposing and developing diagnostic radiographs. You'll ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and other certifications and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Radiography/X-Ray certification (state-specific).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service and patient education.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$20.00-$26.00/hour based on experience

Schedule

4 days per week - 7:30am-6:00pm Every other Saturday
