Dental Assistant

About the role

A privately owned practice offering a compensation package starting at $27-$35 per hour based on experience, along with benefits such as a 401(k) plan with a match, medical, vision, life insurance, and disability plans, as well as wellness programs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• Required: 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant, High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, is preferred.
