About the role

Foothills Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part Time Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Aid the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and patient visits.
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, and assist with charting as needed.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Help children feel comfortable, supported, and at ease throughout their visit.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus).
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Positive attitude, patience, and team-focused mindset.

Benefits

Salary: $20-$23 hourly.
