About the role

Cross, Lavinder, Quinn, & Park Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant in Daleville, Virginia to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. You are an integral part of the care team, supporting the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Requirements

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• X-Ray certification (preferred).
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Schedule

Full time: Monday - Friday.
