Demand Planning Specialist (can sit in any US WCI location)

Responsibilities

• Monitoring customer demand and forecasts, reviewing EDI and system data for accuracy and resolving inconsistencies or order parameter issues.
• Managing forecasting activities by entering, validating, and analyzing demand data to help ensure accurate and reliable forecasts.
• Tracking and adjusting inventory levels across facilities to support customer requirements while helping the organization meet inventory goals.
• Analyzing forecasts against actual demand to identify trends, gaps, and potential risks that may require action.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and day-to-day supply challenges while balancing customer and business needs.
• Helping improve our planning processes by identifying opportunities to increase forecasting accuracy, data quality, and overall efficiency.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Hiawatha, IA; Cedar Falls, IA; Des Moines, IA; East Moline, IL; Crystal Lake, IL; or Grovetown, GA.
• High school diploma required.
• 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration/Management or other relevant field (preferred).
• In lieu of 4-year degree, 2-year degree in a relevant field with equivalent work experience (required).
• 2+ years Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook (required).
• 1+ years Supply Chain Experience (preferred).
• 1+ years MRP experience (preferred).
