About the role
This position is designed and intended to be performed on-site in Muscatine, IA.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain statistically driven demand forecasts and consensus plans across a 3–36 month horizon aligned to business and strategic objectives.
- Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Review, driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and Executive Leadership.
- Possess strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a solid understanding of inventory management principles and a results-driven mindset.
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations partners to align production, inventory, new product launches, and strategic initiatives—including inventory optimization and growth opportunities.
- Analyze and communicate key metrics (forecast accuracy/bias, service levels, inventory turns, product/channel performance) to inform decisions.
- Provide executive insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to support budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range planning.
Education, Experience &/or Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Analytics/Data Science or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 or more years of experience in demand planning, forecasting or a related field in a manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Experience with data analytics and forecasting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or creating dashboards via Excel.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a solid understanding of inventory management principles and a results-driven mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and demand planning tools.
- Experience with SQL and relational data bases.
- IBP or S&OP experience is preferred but not required.
